The troop currently serves over 50 scouts. The troop also supplies the trailer and equipment to Cub Pack 4393, which serves an additional 54 cub scouts for their outdoor activities and events. Programs are designed to combine adventure and fun with learning and leadership opportunities to develop character in these young scouts. Beyond camping, the scouts are actively involved in the community, including multiple scout-organized and led community service projects every year. Since the troop’s inception in 2008, over 25 scouts have achieved the rank of Eagle.
The troop is sponsored by VFW Post 7356. They open their facility to the boys for weekly meetings and the trailer was stored on their grounds. The VFW Post, a not-for-profit organization, are spearheading replacement efforts. We are kindly seeking cash or equipment donations to help to cover this significant loss.
